Iran Radar Installation

AMCOP was invited to provide installation services near Port of Bandar Abbas, Iran. The installation was along the Straits of Hormuz and comprises of six radar installations. The radar installation were along the strait that included some coastal and island sites. The radars are critical to the safe passage of vessels along the busy Staits of Hormuz. AMCOP was involved with six radar sites and responsible for the installation or the following components:

• One dual radar transceiver with its antenna control unit (TERMA 2001)
• One RDF rack and antenna and its surge protection (THALES ANT204)
• One Meteo Datalogger (AANDERAA)
• One wave guide dehydrator (RFS)
  One AIS with cavity filter
