QASTOR

The QASTOR system is specially designed for pilots and docking masters. Designed in full compliances with IHO, IMO and IEC standards. All information regarding positioning, active routes, scales and display views are continuosly stored for replay purposes. A connection sequence (e.g. via a standard GSM phone) can be launched automatically to log in to an S-57 chart server database and start downloading the latest updates for the electronic charts of the system.

The system can be utilized in two configurations:

1. QASTOR Pilot : Designed for the pilot task of bringing in a ship from the entrance to the harbor. QASTOR Pilot for piloting. The pilot system uses the standard GPS/GLONASS positioning offering an accuracy of 3 to 5 meters. In differential mode the accuracy is increased to less than 1 meter.
2. QASTOR Docking Master: Used for final accurate docking procedures. QASTOR Docking Master for docking. Due to its very high accuracy (2 to 3cm) the Docking Master system meets the demands for docking large vessels where low speed and healing measurements are of utmost importance.
