One Fathom Bank Radar System

When AMCOP took over to do maintenance work on MSSS, one component or radar site was missing. The One Fathom Bank (OFB) Radar System. AMCOP was contracted by National Security Department (Prime Minister Department) in 2000 to complete the remaining work of OFB. The OFB radar project had the function like any other site within the MSSS, whereby:

• It has the ability to monitor maritime activities around OFB waters
• Provide communication links with vessel within OFB surrounding areas
• Relay information back to Area Control Center and Main Control Center

The project was a great success as we completed well before the due date as well as within National Security Department's (Prime Ministers Department) requirements.
